The  Winnipeg International STORYTELLING FESTIVAL is being held in Winnipeg again this year for it's 10th year! There are several Deaf people performing at the festival this year and we hope you will come out to see them show off their talent! 

The Deaf participants will be taking part in three different events. The events are as follows: 

1) LECTURE: UNDERSTANDING ASL LITERATURE by Dr. Samuel Supalla

Wednesday, May 6 at 7:00 pm (Fr. Jensen Theatre, St. Paul's College at University of Manitoba) Free parking will be available.

2) Deaf Storytelling Night with Dr. Samuel Supalla, David Burke and Christine Spike-Mitchell

Friday, May 8 at 7:00 pm (Deaf Centre Manitoba on 285 Pembina Highway in Affleck Room). This event will not be interpreted and it will be presented in ASL.

3) ASL workshop with Dr. Samuel Supalla,

Saturday, May 9 from 10:15 to 12:15 pm at the Millennium Library, Buchwald room, 2nd floor (251 Donald Street).
